Senior Content Marketing Manager - Remote (Canada / Europe)


Job description

The Senior Content Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and execution of ChartMogul’s content marketing strategy. With proven experience leading B2B SaaS content marketing programs, the Senior Content Marketing Manager will coordinate highly successful campaigns and programs – through all phases of development, launch, and optimization.

You'll use your solid copywriting ability, journalistic sensibility and editorial experience to build our voice across multiple mediums. You will develop assets used to drive brand awareness, top-of-funnel lead generation and customer marketing. You’ll build strategies to educate and engage prospects, customers, and partners and amplify ChartMogul's thought leadership with the world.


  • Produce industry-leading editorial content across a range of mediums that engages our target personas and provides real insight and education, in partnership with our in-house experts
  • Mature our editorial calendar across social channels and our blog
  • Drive our SEO strategy to optimize existing content and uncover new opportunities
  • Collaborate with internal teams through the content development cycle to ensure projects are delivered on-time, on-strategy and support brand and business goals
  • Analyze the effectiveness of our content marketing program in real-time by establishing meaningful metrics and effective goal setting

Job requirements

What we're looking for

  • Native-level spoken and written English with exemplary writing and editing skills, in both short and long-form
  • Proven experience leading content marketing in B2B SaaS startups, with a passion for the startup ecosystem
  • Clear understanding of performance marketing and general SaaS business metrics
  • Ability to understand technical and complex concepts and distill them in a clear and simple way for a wide audience
  • Strong track record of meeting business performance goals through the development and execution of innovative marketing communications programs
  • Strong working knowledge of, and experience, with established and emerging social media platforms
  • Familiarity with SEO, search engine, social media and internet marketing industry trends, developments and best practices
  • Experience working with PR agencies to build global communications plans
  • An experimental approach, with a willingness to constantly learn and grow

Nice to have

  • Bachelor’s degree (B.A./B.S.) or equivalent in communications, marketing, journalism/English, advertising or related discipline
  • Experience using website content management systems including WordPress
  • Experience with marketing automation tools and CRMs
  • Experience managing others and working with agencies
