About the Marketing Team

The marketing team at ChartMogul is focused on communicating the value of revenue data and analytics to high-growth subscription businesses. The team is located in Berlin, but manage global integrated campaigns that span content marketing, advertising and field events.

The team is small, and being able to work cross-functionally is key to our success. Almost every project we manage touches design, product, engineering, support or sales.

As we continue to grow, we want to make sure that we’re adopting — and developing —  best practices in how we manage and utilize our marketing data. We strive to be a best-in-class marketing organization that makes every dollar — and every decision — count.

About the Role

We’re seeking an enthusiastic marketing operations professional who wants to have outsized impact on a fast-growing, global startup. This person will own all aspects of our advertising and marketing automation programs, ensuring that marketing is driving measurable results within the organization.

What Will You Do?

  • Own advertising (Google, LinkedIn, Display) planning and execution, managing multiple campaigns that span geographies and product lines.

  • Take over management of Intercom, ensuring that we are collecting the right data, keeping our instance organized, and pushing information to the right systems (including ChartMogul!) .

  • Track marketing’s contribution to revenue targets using a mix of data from Intercom, ChartMogul and Heap analytics. This includes both ongoing and post-campaign reporting.

  • Analyze our sales and marketing technology stack and recommend (and, if applicable, implement) new technologies that will support alignment and drive impact.

  • Discover and track SEO opportunities that can be pursued by product and content marketing (desirable, but not mandatory).

  • Identify and share insights and suggestions for improvement to cross-functional stakeholders based on data.

  • Play a key role in quarterly and annual marketing planning process, ensuring marketing’s goals are aligned with the company’s overall goals, and with sales and product objectives.

  • Execute and support email campaigns and in-product communications, to make sure we’re always targeting the right people with the right messages.

  • Occasionally pitch in to help with research and writing, depending on your skills and comfort level. Are you a marketing ops pro who also wants to learn about event planning or copywriting? We can give you that opportunity!

  • Previous work in a SaaS startup.

  • Strong analytical skills and expert-level familiarity with Excel.

  • Deep experience with multiple marketing, CRM and analytics platforms, including Intercom and Heap. Experience with is a plus!

  • Excellent professional communication skills both written and verbal in English.

  • Proven experience running global display and SEM campaigns.

  • Deep understanding of pipeline management, including lead scoring, analysis and routing.
