Full Stack Software Engineer - South Korea

We are looking to hire a Full Stack Software Engineer for our frontend-centric team (internally called Delta). Currently, we are a team of 5 developers and we are working in 5-week-long iterations (inspired by “Shape Up”). Working with us would allow you to get full responsibility to complete self-contained projects from beginning to end in the context of maintaining and extending the customer-facing part of our ChartMogul platform.

Responsibilities:

• Work as part of a team on improving a major Ruby-on-Rails powered SaaS application and its Vue.js frontend
• Work with our Product and Design teams to discuss new features and their requirements, changes, and improvements to existing functionality
• Ensure that the software you build with your team is well designed, secure, and reliable
• Contribute to technology strategy – we decide together how to evolve our stack using technologies that fit our purposes
• Contribute to the quality of our codebase by reviewing pull requests while providing constructive feedback
• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in technology

Professionally

• You have 4+ years of experience developing single-page web applications with a modern JavaScript/RoR stack or a similar stack
• Experience with Ruby on Rails and Typescript/JavaScript (we use Vue.js)
• Good knowledge of the browser environment and JavaScript toolchains
• Ability to write clear and maintainable code
• You like working with other team members and even customers to understand and solve their problems
• Next to speaking English fluently, you can understand and translate business requirements into clearly articulated technology solutions

Nice to Have

• Knowledge of CI/CD systems and practices
• Knowledge of Postgres and SQL
• Experience with D3.js
• Experience contributing to OSS
